My Magic Birthday Year

This year is my "Magic Birthday" year - or so I call it. I was born in 1955, and in July I will be 55. July 5, as a matter of fact. The magic of those numbers seemed to pull at me, and I thought I should do something to commemorate this monumental event. I put out a call to many friends and family members - give me ideas of 55 cool and/or unusual things to do throughout the year. Not a 'bucket list', but little, memorable things that fall within my budget restraints (cheap) phobias (heights, flying, etc.) and that are practical ( I am a busy girl, after all). As the suggestions come in, I will compile a list, and tackle it with earnest, keeping up with the adventure on this blog. As soon as the list is ready, so am I! Feel free to add any suggestions before the list is set.
